If you have to create a new wire harness or want to modify an existing one you need to use LDorado Design/Formboard. Primarily design aspects are assessed and implemented here, resulting in an un-scaled wire harness drawing. The user interface of LDorado Design/Formboard talks the same language the user does, cables, bundles, connectors, splices, tapes, coverings and much, much more. LDorado Design/Formboard derives the appropriate formboard from it. LDorado Design/Formboard offers lists and other necessary information for the manufacturing area of the harness process. A plot of the formboard is necessary in the same way as typical procedure lists for the workers.
LDorado Formboard calculates the actual bundle perimeter and the necessary length of a tape wrapping the bundle. A further substantial component is Amend, the documentation of "change messages" in digital form. A component of LDorado Design is Tweaker CE, it makes possible to add additional information to existing SVG diagrams or correct these. (i.e. from the CATIA export or the conversion of GRIVAD symbols). In order to adapt LDorado Design to the process needs of the customer, COMSA implements customized functions into the standard product. These functions can look different from customer to customer. This is reached by means of customized attitudes and called “userware”. Is it sufficiently to derive the description of the AP212-KBL based 3D-wiring harness very simply in a 2D-Layout, LDorado Harness Lab Layout is the correct module. The flattening algorithm for the simple and fast completion of the wiring harness in a 2D-layout reduces manual rework and its used especially to guide the system during the flattening process. LDorado Layout puts the user into the position, to manipulate existing wiring harnesses after reading in in their 2D-Layout, however the possibility does not exist to change wiring harness contents. Typical graphic changes can be shifting plug positions and arranging plug tables. Beyond that the possibility exists to insert additional process-relevant measure-informations, reference texts and design type fonts. Comfortable inserting of connecting lists and parts lists as generated tables on basis of the used wiring harness data is at any time possible. LDorado Layout documents are multi-sheetable. Comfortable print- and plotfunctions make possible the output on paper format. As further output format SVG (Scalable vector diagram) is available. |
